The client

Rửa Xe CT.01 is a 24/7 wash bay at a rest stop on the Trung Lương expressway link road (Đồng Tháp, Vietnam). Most customers are truck and container drivers, plus cars and pickups. Besides washing, the shop also does greasing, oil changes, cargo-box rinsing and heavy-duty stain removal.

The problem

Long-haul drivers want to know a few things in advance: does the shop take their kind of vehicle, when can it be done, and how do they get in. Everything used to go through phone calls, and at rush hour the staff were washing and answering the phone at the same time, so some customers slipped through.

The shop needed a website that:

3. The shop knows about every booking instantly

When a customer sends the form, the owner and staff get a notification on their phones right away. It lists the jobs, arrival time, vehicle type, plate and phone number, and they can tap the number to call back.

The form is checked on the server: phone and plate numbers must be valid, each device can only send a limited number of bookings, and a hidden trap blocks automated bots. The shop only gets real bookings.
